The weather in Kansas City may still be unpredictable, but spring is only a week away. At Cramer we're marking the change in season by reaffirming our commitment to the environment. Earth Day is April 22nd, and this year's theme, "A Billion Acts of Green," recognizes the power of millions of individual actions.

Speaking of ever, there are a couple of changes coming your way. Read below about the new key and replacement parts. Plus, we'd appreciate your input on this month's survey.

New Renewal Key for Ever
Our new, re-designed ever Renewal Key began shipping with chairs this month. You'll still find it stored under the right side of the seat, but as you can see in the photo, there have been some significant changes.
The Renewal Key still unlocks the seat cushions with simple quarter turns of the Quick Lock fasteners, but the new tool makes the arm adjustment process faster. Plus the new key is much easier on your hands.

Ever Sample Replacement PartsAs we mentioned a few months ago, the ever launch brought to light a potential quality issue with the chair's arms. The Cramer design team quickly created a solution, and chairs have been shipping with the updated arms since late last year. Because of limited availability, the first round of replacement arms was allocated to customers and dealers.
We are now ready to replace the arms on ever rep samples and any outstanding dealer samples. Because we have also updated the seat pan with the new Renewal Key, we'd like to replace both parts at the same time. Look for a communication from Jonna or Beth soon regarding your replacement parts. We'll also provide detailed instructions for the change out.

Survey: Labor Reimbursement
As part of our ongoing sales and service evaluation, we're requesting your feedback on labor reimbursement for warranty claims in this month's survey.
We periodically hear reports of different manufacturers' policies regarding reimbursements of warranty claims. Please take this brief three-question survey. Your input will help us provide the exceptional service your dealers and customers expect from Cramer.
Program Spotlight
Customer: Truman Medical Center
Reps: Lyons Company
Product: Fusion, Rhino Plus and Round Stools
Environment: Truman Medical Center is an acute-care hospital system in Kansas City with two locations serving over 100,000 patients per year. Cramer seating has been a standard at Truman for more than seven years and can be found throughout their hospital and out-patient clinics in a variety of clinical applications.
What Sealed the Deal: Truman was struggling with the quality of their previous standardized nurses chairs. The chairs were experiencing an unacceptable level of wear and warranty work, and Truman was looking for a solution more fit for the environment. Cramer's quality and dedication to durability first sparked their interest in our products; our exceptional performance has kept the dealer's delivery truck backing up to the Cramer loading dock on a weekly basis over the term of the relationship.
Take Away: It doesn't always have to start with a project. Standardization, sometimes on a single, smaller application, has been an effective way for many of our reps to build long-term, sustainable business. What started as a few units at Truman has grown into nearly 2,000 over the life of the deal.
